When zirconia ball is at 600 degree Celsius, the strength and hardness are almost constant and thermal expansion rate is close to the metal, so it can be used in combination with metal. Using zirconia balls can improve grinding efficiency and reduce costs. It can also be used in aerospace due to no deformation under extreme conditions.
